Benefits of AABPA Membership

 You will be part of an all-volunteer organization of like-minded professionals dedicated to facilitating the careers of those in budget and program analysis.

 Membership includes:

  • Discounts to AABPA Symposiums/Summits, in-person gatherings in Washington, DC.
  • Monthly Budget Panels discussing budget topics that most impact our professional lives.
  • Networking Events and access to the AABPA Directory to connect with peers and learn from others in the community.  
  • Free online access to the Public Budgeting and Finance Journal, the premier academic journal for cutting-edge research on budgeting & financial management in the public sector.
  • Volunteer and leadership opportunities as an AABPA Officer, Board Member, and Committee volunteer. Hone your leadership skills and give back to the community.

 Membership Options 

  •  Individual Memberships are $45 per year.
  • Organizational Memberships are $200-$600 per year based on sector and number of individual members.  Organizations can add their members as “Linked Profiles” either during registration or after registration in My Profile.
    • Public Organizations include all government agencies, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations.
    • Private Organizations include all private sector organizations.
    • Organizations and their members receive all the benefits of membership.
    • Organizational Members can send their members to the Annual Summit/Symposium at a discounted rate.

  • Student Memberships are $15 and include the benefits of Individual Membership.
